    Payment

    Payments by Mastercard, Visa, Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amex, Klarna, Ideal, Bancontact, Anyday.

    No fees are charged for credit cards inside EU. 

    The amount will not be drawn from your card account until the goods are dispatched. 

    If you pay by bank transfer, you are not protected by the scheme granting the right to object.

    Reservation of amount

    If you pay with an international payment card, the amount is reserved immediately.
    The money is reserved on your card or account until:

    1) we deduct the amount when we send the item, or

    2) the money is released according to agreement with your card issuer.

    Freight

    Thegelcollection.com strives to deliver the ordered goods within 1-3 business days after we have received your order, unless otherwise agreed in the purchasing process.

    Thegelcollection.com uses GLS for delivery of your order. The shipping cost depends on the individual order size and will be presented during the purchasing process, but ranges between 0 and 9,95 EUR. Most cases under 6,95 EUR.

    Cancellation rights 

    As a consumer, when you buy from us, you have a 14-day cooling-off period, in which you have the right to cancel the purchase. 

    This cooling-off period expires 14 days after the day on which you received your goods. If you have ordered several items in the same purchase, and they are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you received the last item.

    If the agreement is for regular deliveries of goods over a specific period, then your cancellation right lapses 14 days after the day when you receive the first package.

    The period means that you have 14 days after receiving the goods to let us know that you want to cancel the purchase. You can send an e-mail to info@thegelcollection.com or make use of the standard cancellation form, which you will find at the end of the terms of business.

    You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the goods, unless you inform us at the same time. 

    Cancelling part of the purchase

    If you have bought more than one item from us, you may return one or several items, even if they were bought in a single order.

    Please note that freight charges will not be refunded if you cancel part of your purchase.

    Returning the goods

    When you have informed us that you are cancelling your purchase, you have 14 days in which to return the goods to us.

    You yourself must pay for returning the package, and you will be liable if it is damaged during transport.

    No right to cancellation
    The following agreements cannot be cancelled: 

    Deliveries of sealed items which for health or hygienic reasons are not suitable to be returned, when the seal has been broken after delivery, 

    Deliveries of goods which, because of their nature are mixed with other goods on delivery and cannot be separated out again,  

     

    The state of the article when you return it

    If the value of the article is reduced, and the reason is that you have used it in any way beyond what was necessary to check the type and properties of the article and how it works, then only part of the purchase sum can be refunded to you. The amount that can be refunded depends on the saleable value of the article, and in certain cases this may mean that only the freight charges can be refunded.

    We recommend that you return the article in its original packaging.

    If the original packaging is missing, it may reduce the value of the article.

     

    Refund of the purchase sum

    If you cancel a purchase, you will get your money back. If the value of the article is reduced, we will deduct the amount you are liable for. 

    We refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (which does not apply, however, to extra delivery costs if you have chosen a form of delivery other than the cheapest standard form of delivery which we offer), not later than 14 days from the day when we have received your notification that you want to cancel the agreement.

    We will return the money by the same means of payment which you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.

    We may hold back the payment until we have received the article, unless you send documentation that you have returned it.

    Right to make complaints

    When you trade with us as a consumer, the Danish Sale of Goods Act applies.
    This means that you have a right to complain within 24 months. Please contact us before you return the article.

    If your complaint is justified, it means that you may either have the item repaired or replaced, or your money refunded, or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.

    You must complain within a “reasonable time” after you have discovered a defect. If you complain within two months after the defect has been discovered, it will always be regarded as within a reasonable time.
     
    If the complaint is justified, we will refund your freight costs (within reason). The article must always be retuned in suitable packaging. Remember also to obtain a receipt for dispatch, so that we can pay back your freight costs.

    Personal data policy 

    We need the following information when you trade with us: Name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.

    We register and pass on the personal details which are necessary to deliver the goods to you. 

    Personal data is registered with Caprock ApS and is kept for five years, after which the details are deleted. 

    In addition, we work with a number of other companies who store and process data. These companies process the data exclusively on our behalf, and must not use them for their own purposes.

    We work only with processors of data in the EU or in countries where your data will be given adequate protection. 

    On thegelcollection.com, the responsible for data is our data department. 

    You are entitled to be told what details about you we process.
    If you believe the details are inaccurate, you are entitled to have them corrected. In certain situations, we are obliged to delete your personal data if you ask us to do so. These could, for instance, be data which are no longer necessary for the purpose we used them for.     Where you can complain

    If you as a consumer want to complain about your purchase, please contact info@thegelcollection.com. If we do not succeed in finding a solution, you can send a complaint to Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, DK-8800 Viborg. You can make your complaint here 
    To complain about goods or services, the goods or services must have a value between 1.110 DKK and 100.000 DKK. If the goods you want to complain about are clothes or shoes the value must be at least 720 DKK. A fee will be charged.
